Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) Survey is the authoritative national source of information on private giving to higher education and private K-12.
2006 was the fifth year I created print-ready files for this annual report on private giving to education. In addition to narrative, the book includes dozens of tables and graphs presenting survey results in an informative and aesthetically appealing format.
Rich has a rare ability to visualize the whole project, from the most minute details of how numbers should appear on a page to the overall aesthetics of the project. He has picked up errors in my work that even my copy editor missed, and he also gets the big picture. Rich follows directions to the letter, yet knows when to question them, and he thinks out of the box just when you need that most.
